The following are some of the more important points of the service I offer
which I want you to be aware of :
REFERRALS
Referrals are accepted from General Practitioners, Psychologists,
Psychiatrists, Ministers of Religion, Fellow Counsellors and Therapists,
Social Workers as well as Individuals who feel they would benefit from
the service.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All counselling and therapy is undertaken in the strictest
confidence. Confidentiality is discussed and agreed with ALL clients at
the initial interview before counselling or therapy commences.
CODES OF ETHICS AND CODES OF PRACTICE
All counselling and therapy is undertaken with strictest adherence to
the Code of Ethics and Code of Practice of both the British Association
of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Association for Sexual
and Marital Therapy.
SUPERVISION
All counselling and therapy is undertaken in accordance with the levels
of supervision required by the BACP and
BASRT.
